Our fifth school, Safina Haji Primary school in Nakuru County, Kenya, was completed in 2015. Safina marks Village Impact’s fifth school construction in a span of three years.
There are currently 310 students in attendance.
The school has a solar power system and a gravity water system making it the most sustainable school (Though not something they are really taking advantage of).
The school has had a huge enrolment of the pre-primary ECD children making an important milestone in reaching the community to bring in their young children to school early, this was not always the case, especially with the villages surrounding the main IDP resettlement villages.
